Do not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. 1Cor 6:19-20

For those of you who are familiar with the movie "The Shawshank Redemption", there was a character imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. After serving years for the crime, he decided one day that he would brake out because his life was slipping away. He decided to get his life back and let nothing stand in his way. I felt somewhat like that character. I'm a prisoner within my own body. The Crohn's Disease had taken over my body. I let it change my entire lifestyle. Now, I wanted to take control of my life again with God's help...

So I decided to get busy living. This decision was made when a doctor told me that I needed surgery to remove inflammed intestines. I was told that there was a possibility that I would need to have a colonic bag installed. Something snapped in my mind right then and there. I said, "No" to surgery. It was at that point that I decided to get busy living. I was tired of being sick, in pain and in/out of the hospital. I was always tired. I wanted my life back. I missed the hiking trips in the mountains, the fun times at amusement parks and nice walks along the sea shore as the sunset in the distance.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 1999. I have been on just about every kind of medicine imaginable. Working become a chore for me. I prayed and prayed for healing, but did not attempt to change my lifestyle. I did not attempt to change it until I heard of the Maker's Diet. I thank God for the new found information. Through prayer, faith and following through with the Maker Diet, I too will be healed of Crohn's disease just like Dr. Jordan Rubin.

All in all, I would like to dedicate this web site to anyone who seeks for healing in their body, mind, and spirit. I pray that these weekly entries can be beneficial to everyone who truthfully seeks God's blessings within their lives. Thank you and God bless you with your journey as well.
